In our efforts to build a decentralised ecosystem for the Creative Industry in Africa & Europe we benchmarked a number of blockchain companies including Polkadot, Solana, Stacks. 

We were impressed by Chromia, a Swedish blockchain provider and their holistic approach. The application process was very fast. We applied to their 6 month incubator programme in December 2021 and kickstarted in January 2022. 10 companies from around the World were selected to build d’Apps on the Chromia blockchain platform.

Chromia Innovation Lab Incubation program is part of Chromaway AB, the creators of relational blockchain.The incubator will utilize Chromia’s blockchain platform to develop blockchain applications. Chromia is making it easy for people to build decentralized apps. Their system offers many tools including a Vault, creation of tokens, flexible smart contracts and have even built their own code called Rell and well documented and easy to access. 

We are not only trying to create value this time, but also focussing on how to capture the value created and to distribute the value fairly amongst the team that is part of the journey. We see blockchain with smart contracts as a fantastic technology to enable us to achieve this.
