Aniela Hoitink’s MycoTEX wins Global Change Award

Super Cool and well worth Aniela Hoitink!! Big congrats on winning the Global Change Award sponsored by H&M for @MycoTEX @hmfoundation.

Aniela Hoitink from NEFFA won the award for Fungi Fashion. MycoTEX is granted €150,000 and participation in the global accelerator program with H&M Foundation, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Fjord and Accenture

We kicked off with a first week in Stockholm creating insights and goals. Next stops will be New York and Shanghai, where we will have learning and networking opportunities as well as exclusive industry insights, says Aniela.

MycoTEX creates textiles by combining mycelium with textiles, in order to create flexible composite products. Her new fashion materials that are mushroom based and biodegradable are not only better for the environment when it comes to the end-of-life-cycle, it also saves A LOT of water in the manufacturing process.

Please follow and support Aniela and her company NEFFA, who is changing the world of fashion by developing a unique sustainable alternative to cotton. It’s just the beginning. Ghilaine and Martin from BLaO are proud mentors.
