Rachel Lasebikan

PARTNER, RESEARCH & INNOVATION

I work with individuals and teams to innovate, grow, and market sustainable, future-led ideas, products, projects, and services that will meet the needs of society today and for the future. Rachel is Co-Founding partner of BLaO’s portfolio company Scandinavian Loft and SCNDI. As a designer and marketing communications professional with 20+ years of experience in managing creative, technology, cross-border, cross-sector, collaborative innovation projects, I have become highly skilled in bringing often fragmented ideas to fruition.

I have enjoyed working at the heart of the creative, technology, research, and academic sectors on projects in the UK, pan European and African markets, including the £3M Wear Sustain programme and We in social Tech, the accelerator for female social tech founders with Deutsche Bank. She Co-Founded the first sustainable African Fair trade Fashion brand in Topshop. Rachel was part of the core team to set up African broadcast network, (ABN) which raised £10M.

Rachel has a Masters degree from Central St Martins. She has led on creative innovation projects at Queen Mary University, Brunel University, Smartlab UCD and University of East London, and on Communications projects for Deutsche Bank’s We in Social Tech and the National Centre for Academic and Cultural Exchange.
